Over the summer we had our lovely new library built. We are in the process of putting all the books into the library and will soon be inviting parents and carers to come and see them. Please watch out for more information in the coming weeks.

Year 6 High Schools

It is coming to the time of the year when Year 6 parents and carers will be receiving letters about applying for places at high school. The deadline for applications is the 31st of October 2023. If you need any support in doing these please come in and see either Mrs Macdonald or Miss Hughes. 

PE kits

Please can you make sure your child has their PE on the following days:
Year 1 and 2 - Thursday
Year 3 and 4 - Tuesday
Year 5 and 6 - Wednesday

Book Hut

The book hut has been restocked so please take a look and remember you can swap, borrow or take. If you have any books you would like to donate please drop them off with the school office or with your child’s class teacher.

High School Open Evenings for Year 6 parents and carers


Now is the time to think about applying for a high school place for your son/daughter. The deadline for applications is 31 October 2023.

To help you decide which high school to choose for your child, you can visit schools on their open evenings. Below is a list of schools with their open evening dates.

Dixons Trinity Chapeltown /  Thursday 21 September /  4.30 - 7pm
Trinity Academy Leeds /  Thursday 28 September /  6 - 8pm
Mount St Mary’s Catholic High School / Thursday 28 September /  6.30 - 8.30pm
Coop Academy Leeds /  Thursday 5 October / 2.30 - 6pm
Corpus Christi Catholic College /  Thursday 5 October /  5 - 8pm (The Principal will speak at 6pm)

You should have received a letter from Leeds City Council, which gives you information about how to
apply online. It also tells you which schools are the closest to your house.
If you need help applying for a high school, please come and talk to Mrs Macdonald or Miss Hughes.
