I'm Zhainah Talab, I am the Academy community pioneer for Co-op Academy Brownhill.

I’m Zhainab and I have just finished sixth form! The fact that I have just left school gives me a brilliant insight into how current students and parents navigate tricky school life. One of my main goals as an Academy Community Pioneer is to provide wider knowledge about the wide range of subjects and careers available to young people, as well as the different routes into work such as apprenticeships. 

Another one of my main aims is to increase parental engagement with school activities. Many studies have shown that when young people see guardians actively engaging with school life, their grades and their wellbeing improves immensely.
