Thank you

As we approach our last week of term, I would like to thank you all again for your support this term. Sadly, like many other schools, we have had to close class bubbles this term, but despite this, parents and children have remained upbeat and positive. You have helped children at home with remote learning, and together as a school community, we have shown great resilience in challenging times.

School Pantomime

To replace school Christmas parties this year, we will be attending a virtual pantomime. The live performance will be available for all children to view on Wednesday 16th December, and for those pupils who will be self-isolating, they will receive a link through google classroom. Children can come to school dressed as their favourite pantomime character, and we will provide all children with drinks and popcorn.

Track and Trace over the Christmas break

The school has a responsibility to continue Track and Trace (up to the 24th December) for any school-based COVID positive cases. Therefore can we ask all parents, if your child develops symptoms within 48 hours of being in school and then receives a positive COVID test to contact the school on 07970894655.  The school office will be closed so; please use the number provided.  If this is the case, please call or leave a message with your child’s full name, class, and contact number and a member of staff will contact you.

Parents, please be aware that should we receive a confirmed case and your child is deemed to be a close contact your child would be asked to self isolate in line with government guidance.

Polite request

Can I remind all parents that should you have a concern about your child in school and especially when this relates to another child that you speak to school staff only. It is not acceptable or responsible to approach parents directly as this can be both upsetting and intimidating. Thank you.

School closes at the end of the day on Friday 18th December 2020

and re-opens on Monday 4th January 2021 at your child’s staggered start time.
