International Day

On Thursday last week, we had our very first International day at Co-op Academy Brownhill to celebrate the amazingly diverse community that we serve. Children came dressed in traditional wear and shared their traditions and culture. A huge thank you to all the parents who contributed by bringing food. This was such an amazing part of the day and showed what amazing families we serve. Thank you also to all the parents and carers who joined us for the afternoon.

Tag Rugby Competition.

On Friday, we took part and hosted the Co-op Cup tag rugby event. Year 4 pupils played against Nightingale, Woodlands and Oakwood during the morning. The event, which is organised and run by PE partners, was a huge success, and all the pupils played really well and showed great sportsmanship. We are also pleased to announce that one of the Brownhill teams was victorious and won the event. Well done to all involved.

Sports days:

The weather is looking really good for sports day this week, which is great and means that these should all go ahead as planned, however hot and sunny weather can be equally problematic.  We may take the decision on the sun to reduce the number of races and events that happen so that children are not sat outside for too long, so please arrive on time if you wish to see children compete. Please can you make sure children have sports kit, trainers, suncream, water bottle and hat on the day of sports day.
