The Government is asking parents to keep children at home whenever possible – schools remain open only for children who need to attend.
We’re having a BigTalk

We’re having a BigTalk

The first week back after Christmas, we have a new company called BigTalk Education coming into school to teach all pupils  Relationship Education.

Pupils will take part in important conversations about how to maintain healthy relationships with the people around them, as well as a healthy relationship with themselves.

In response to our changing society and the impact of the Internet, Government have introduce statutory Relationship Education to Primary Schools. These lessons are not new and have been delivered in good Primary Schools since 2000, but they have been updated to stay relevant and helpful.

We are being supported in these lessons by specialist organisation BigTalk Education, who are a Social Enterprise recognised by national leading bodies and government. They work with 3 to 18 year olds and have been involved in delivering age appropriate education of this type for over 20 years

Parent letters will be sent out Monday with more information in and you can find a copy at the bottom of this page.

If you want to know more about what the sessions we invite you to our Parent and Staff Information Session on the morning of the 8th January.
