Christmas has arrived
It is fantastic to see that Christmas has arrived at the Academy. The trees are decorated and the Christmas Garden is nearly finished. Thank you to all the staff involved in making the school look so festive.
Children in need
Thank you to all the parents who donated money for our non-uniform day. We raised £197.51 for Children in Need. A great effort by everyone.
We are pleased to announce that we will be going ahead with Christmas performances this year. This event will be a ticket only event and your child will be bringing a letter home on Monday for you to order your tickets. To ensure all parents get the opportunity to attend tickets will be limited to 2 tickets per family. Please only request tickets for one performance unless you have a child in KS1 and a child in KS2 in which case you may select tickets for both events.
Once you have completed your order form this will be processed and your tickets will be sent home with your child.
We will be requiring parents to wear masks unless they are exempt. This is to protect pupils and staff. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Dates for performances
KS1 Nativity performance 1 Monday 13th December 2:30
KS1 Nativity performance 2 Tuesday 14th December 9:30
KS2 Christmas Carol Performance Wednesday 15th December 2:30
KS2 Christmas Carol Performance Thursday 16th December 9:30
Christmas Attendance Shop
We will be holding the Christmas attendance shop in the last week of term. All children will be given the opportunity to spend their vouchers and all purchases will be taken home with them on the last day of term. Your child will have earned 50p for each full week of attendance since September up to a total of £10
This week we have broken our record for having the most number of parents visit our Academy in one week. We have had our weekly fitness sessions. Nursery and Reception have invited all parents in for a stay and play, we had a community engagement meeting, and Year 6B parents were invited in to look at their child’s learning. In total we had over 140 parents attend this week. Thank you we really enjoy seeing you in school.
